A Note to Our Patients

Dear Patients,

You are our first concern! In conjunction with our philosophy and in response to current recommendations, we want to inform you that we are taking precautionary measures to ensure the well-being of our patients and staff.

As the days go by things are rapidly changing. The HCC staff is trying to provide health care as best as possible following State guidelines. We are now open our regular hours! Except for massage therapy, for this we only have hours on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

  1. Have you traveled in the past 14 days?
  2. Have you had contact with anyone with a known or suspected case of COVID-19?
  3. Have you had any new symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath or fever in the past 14 days?
  • If your answer is “no” to all of these questions, please schedule your appointment
  • If your answer is “yes” to any of these questions, I ask that you schedule the appointment when you can say “no” to all of the questions.

We ask that patients with symptoms of illness not come into the office. We will not allow staff members to work if they have symptoms of illnesses.

We also ask that you please bring no guests or additional family members, unless you require special assistance entering or exiting the building.

We are also providing services to get you needed supplements either by mail, office pickup or via email ordering. Should you need assistance in any of these areas, please call to order what you need.

Our cleaning and disinfection regiments are strict, as always. We are washing our hands, frequently cleaning surfaces, and have sanitizers available in multiple areas of the office. As always, sheets, headrests and covers are replaced and washed before reuse. Tables are disinfected between each client. Our air purifier will continue running in the waiting room with filters frequently replaced.

We understand at this time you need to make the best decision for yourself and your family members. PLEASE, if you feel uncomfortable with keeping your appointments for any reason, please call us at (302) 239-8550. If we are not available, leave a message. Now more than ever, we know that you will use common sense. If you’re not feeling well or are recovering from an illness, we ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointment. For the present, we will waive the cancellation fee if less than 24 hours on the day of your appointment.

We want to share with you ways to support yourself and your immune system:

  1. Wash hands and avoid touching your face. Try to use soap and reserve antibacterial for when nothing else is available. Homemade disinfectant for surfaces can be water/white vinegar 2:1 ratio.
  2. Get adequate sleep.
  3. Eat nutrient-dense foods and avoid sugar.
  4. Drink plenty of fluids frequently.
  5. Get Exercise – Enjoy a walk outside. Try tai chi or yoga or dance!
  6. Stress management including meditation, tapping or journaling.
  7. Take Supplements – Vit D 2000- 5000iu, Vit C to tolerance, Zinc-not more than 50 mg, probiotics. If interested, other supports are garlic, selenium, echinacea, green tea, colostrum. Contact us if interested in learning more.
