    Tamara J Blossic

'My passion and professional goal is to provide optimal care for my patients, utilizing a whole patient approach.  I like to use a multi-systems approach of listening, life-syle examination, genetic factors, traditional and non-traditional diagnostics to influence long term healthy outcomes.  I discuss treatment plans with my clients that include chiropractic, body work, nutrition, diet, exercise, and stress management.  It's important to me to use an intuitive approach that integrates physical and emotional aspects of health.  Mind and body truly to function together to maintain a healthy person.'

Dr. Tamara Blossic was close to her grandmother - a lady with a large family and a big heart.  When she developed sciatica at an advanced age, none of the usual remedies relieved her pain.  Chiropractic was finally the answer to alleviate her condition. As a teenager, Dr. Blossic observed how chiropractic helped.  She and other family members began to discover the benefits of chiropractic.

Studying chemistry and biology in college, Dr, Blossic taught high school briefly until she acted on her resolve to help others as a Chiropractic Physician. She graduated from National College of Chiropractic, Lombard, IL in 1990 and began her private pactice, Hockessin Chiropractic Centre in 1991.

Dr. Blossic was not content with her basic studies and has embarked on life-long continuing education. Children are special and pediatrics became her first specialty when she completed the post graduate studies of Fellowship of International Chiropractic in Pediatrics. Also certified as a Chiropractic Sports Physician, she is able to meet needs for older children and adults. In addition, Dr. Blossic has completed formal studies in Nutrition, Acupuncture, Upledger CranioSacral Therapy, and Barral Visceral Manipulation. She is a certified Healing from the Core presenter. Her most recent studies are in certified Functional Medicine.

Professional activities include roles as past President of Delaware Chiropractic Society and the Delaware Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
